Dawn Hammacott, Executive Director
Dawn is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York. She has extensive restaurant management and culinary experience, particularly in Baking and Pastry Arts. Shortly after graduating she opened a bakery/café in downtown New Milford, CT which she sold after 13 successful years in business. This allowed her to pursue the development of the Community Culinary School of Northwestern CT, a project which she long had an interest in. She has been involved with the program development from the beginning and volunteered her time to get the program off the ground. Her duties include administrative responsibilities, classroom instruction and catering coordination.
