Do you love to cook? Are looking for a change in your career or educational path? Want to learn more about the Community Culinary School? Join the Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut for an Open House on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m!  Participants can learn more about our culinary arts training and job placement program, observe the 35th session of students in the kitchen, and speak with our graduates about their experience. The Open House is an opportunity to learn firsthand about our 12-week program and employment prospects upon graduation. Light refreshments, prepared by students, will be provided. When Roasting Your Poultry. . . 1) In a pan, place the bird on top of large chunks of celery, carrots, and onion. 2) Add some water to the bottom of the pan. 3) Then season with salt, pepper, thyme and/or sage, and paprika. 4) Cover with saran wrap and then aluminum foil. 5) Bake at 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 2 hours and then pull off the coverings and cook for 45 minutes or until 165 degrees F. 6) You’ll be guaranteed a crispy and moist bird! —- Chef Blythe...

Community Culinary School Receives $5,750 Donation from Nicholas/Tobin & Associates!

The Community Culinary School of Northwestern CT was recently the recipient of a donation from Nicholas/Tobin & Associates totaling $5,750 which was the proceeds from Taste of New Milford.  The event, co-sponsored by Nicholas/Tobin & Associates and the New Milford Chamber of Commerce, drew over 1,300 people to sample delicacies from over 30 local restaurants.  The School appreciates the community support.
